Jamshedpur Gears Up for 75th Republic Day with Parade and Cultural Events
Jamshedpur’s Gopal Maidan to witness a grand district-level 75th Republic Day celebration with parades and cultural performances.
JAMSHEDPUR – In preparation for the 75th Republic Day, a meeting was chaired by District Magistrate cum Deputy Commissioner Shri Manjunath Bhajantri at the Collectorate Auditorium, Jamshedpur.
The district level function, set to be held at Gopal Maidan, Bistupur, is poised for a grand celebration.
The event will feature a flag hoisting at 9:05 am and participation from 8 platoons in the parade, including attractive tableaux by various departments.
Parade rehearsals are scheduled from January 21st to 23rd, with a full dress rehearsal on January 24th.
Adding to the patriotic fervor, school children will perform on patriotic songs in a cultural evening on January 26th.
Senior Superintendent of Police Mr. Kishore Kaushal, Deputy Development Commissioner Mr. Manish Kumar, and other administrative and police officers were present in the meeting.
The parade will showcase diverse contingents, including JAP-6, District Police Force, District Home Guard, NCC, and Scouts and Guides.
District Magistrate Bhajantri has directed all government buildings and offices to hoist flags and garland the statues of great men, emphasizing the importance of national monuments.
JNAC is tasked with coordinating venue preparations, ensuring visitor seating, ambulance services, and fire safety measures.
The grandeur of this year’s Republic Day celebration reflects Jamshedpur’s commitment to honoring the nation’s heritage and fostering a spirit of patriotism among its citizens.
