Jharkhand All Set to Achieve Rapid Progress on All Fronts: Hemant Soren

Hemant Soren Emphasizes Empowering Villages for Jharkhand’s Future

In a press conference on Thursday to mark the completion of 4 years of his government, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren highlighted the state’s commitment to overcoming its backwardness by focusing on village development and addressing disparities.

RANCHI – Chief Minister Hemant Soren expressed his determination to transform Jharkhand by 2025 into a youth-focused state.

He criticized the Central Government for insufficient support, despite Jharkhand’s efforts to progress with limited assistance.

Soren underlined the government’s success in implementing the ‘Your Scheme, Your Government, Your Doorstep’ campaign, reaching those hindered by development barriers.

The government has prioritized the Sarvajan Pension Scheme, unique to Jharkhand, benefiting the elderly, widows, and disabled.

Educational initiatives include increased scholarships and the Marang Gomke Overseas Scholarship Scheme for students aspiring to study abroad.

Soren announced plans for manufacturing hydrogen engines, a first in India, in partnership with Tata Cummins.

To alleviate Ranchi’s traffic woes, a network of flyovers is under rapid construction.

Despite the challenges posed by the global pandemic and the lockdown, Soren lauded his government’s superior handling compared to other states.

He highlighted the government’s various efforts, including supporting farmers, laborers, youth, women, and the unemployed.

Soren emphasized the importance of village strength as the foundation for statewide development.

The Chief Minister commemorated the sacrifices of two cabinet ministers who succumbed to the pandemic.

Soren’s administration has fulfilled longstanding demands of various state employees, including implementing the old pension scheme.

Jharkhand’s Progress Amid Challenges

Under the Soren government, Jharkhand has shown resilience and commitment to development despite facing numerous challenges. The government’s focus on village empowerment, educational advancements, and infrastructure development indicates a strategic approach to state-wide progress.

Revitalizing Rural Jharkhand

The Chief Minister’s dedication to strengthening rural areas reflects a belief that the state’s overall growth is contingent on the development of its villages. This strategy aims to erase the label of backwardness associated with Jharkhand.

Enhancing Social Security and Education

Soren’s administration has implemented schemes like Sarvajan Pension and increased educational scholarships, demonstrating a commitment to social security and educational empowerment.

Infrastructure and Industrial Development

The government’s initiatives, such as constructing flyovers in Ranchi and partnering for hydrogen engine manufacturing, signify a move towards modernizing infrastructure and boosting industrial growth.
