RANCHI – Chief Minister Hemant Soren expressed his determination to transform Jharkhand by 2025 into a youth-focused state.
He criticized the Central Government for insufficient support, despite Jharkhand’s efforts to progress with limited assistance.
Soren underlined the government’s success in implementing the ‘Your Scheme, Your Government, Your Doorstep’ campaign, reaching those hindered by development barriers.
The government has prioritized the Sarvajan Pension Scheme, unique to Jharkhand, benefiting the elderly, widows, and disabled.
Educational initiatives include increased scholarships and the Marang Gomke Overseas Scholarship Scheme for students aspiring to study abroad.
Soren announced plans for manufacturing hydrogen engines, a first in India, in partnership with Tata Cummins.
To alleviate Ranchi’s traffic woes, a network of flyovers is under rapid construction.
Despite the challenges posed by the global pandemic and the lockdown, Soren lauded his government’s superior handling compared to other states.
He highlighted the government’s various efforts, including supporting farmers, laborers, youth, women, and the unemployed.
