Jharkhand CM Promises Land Problem Resolution

Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren commits to resolving land issues, announcing initiatives for local employment and development at Latehar’s event.

RANCHI – Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, speaking at Latehar block in Latehar district, pledged to address the state’s land-related problems, seeking public support for his government.

Soren acknowledged existing irregularities in land matters across Jharkhand, promising solutions in the future.

Emphasizing the importance of continued government support, he urged people to walk hand-in-hand with his administration to ensure resolution of these issues.

The Chief Minister highlighted his government’s success in returning the land to Netarhat’s residents and the cancellation of the Netarhat Field Firing Range notification.

Soren also mentioned the government’s commitment to correcting land errors and restoring farmers’ land, fostering public trust in the administration’s capacity to resolve these matters.

Addressing employment issues, he revealed plans for mining companies in Latehar to train local youth in operating heavy vehicles and machinery, enhancing job opportunities.

The district administration is set to initiate training centers in collaboration with mining companies, backed by a law ensuring 75% local employment in state industries.

Soren announced the organization of annual camps to address local problems, reinforcing his government’s approach to community engagement.

Under the Chief Minister Employment Generation Scheme, the government is facilitating self-employment, providing loans for various small businesses, thereby empowering the youth.

The Chief Minister also inaugurated and laid the foundation for 130 schemes worth Rs 345 crore and distributed assets worth Rs 215 crore.

In a significant move, the government distributed community and individual forest land leases for 900 acres, underscoring its commitment to land rights and rural development.
