MLA Ramdas Soren Demands Swift Resolution to Land Dispute in Putru Village

Concerns raised over illegal land transactions and inefficiency at BDO office

MLA Ramdas Soren is pushing for a quick resolution to the land dispute in Putru village, East Singhbhum, highlighting inefficiencies and illegal transactions.

JAMSHEDPUR – MLA Ramdas Soren took decisive action against a revenue employee at the BDO’s office on Wednesday over a protracted land dispute in Putru village, located under the jurisdiction of Galudih police station in East Singhbhum district.

Ongoing Land Dispute

The core of the dispute centers around a plot of land adjacent to the Putru football ground, where Jitendra Dubey is constructing a house.

Despite multiple measurements by the BDO office and police investigations, the conflict remains unresolved.

Recent Clashes and Injuries

Recent clashes over the land resulted in injuries to two individuals, prompting MLA Soren to intervene.

He emphasized the need for a swift and just resolution to prevent further violence and unrest.

Soren instructed the employee to expedite a comprehensive report on the issue, underscoring the urgency of resolving the matter promptly.

Criticism of BDO Office

Zila Parshad Karna Singh also voiced criticism of the BDO office’s efficiency, drawing attention to the widespread illegal land transactions occurring in Ghatsila.

Singh pointed out the role of middlemen in these transactions and pledged to provide evidence to support his claims.

MLA Soren echoed Singh’s concerns, warning that he would bring the issue to the assembly if significant improvements were not made soon.

He stated, "The persistence of this dispute is unacceptable, and immediate action is required to bring about a resolution. The well-being of the community depends on it."

Call for Efficiency and Transparency

Zila Parshad Singh reiterated the need for transparency and accountability in land transactions, urging the authorities to crack down on illegal activities and middlemen.

He remarked, "The prevalence of illegal land transactions facilitated by middlemen must be addressed with urgency. I will provide evidence to ensure that the necessary actions are taken."

Both leaders stressed the importance of efficiency and transparency in resolving land disputes and managing land transactions.

They called for immediate reforms to restore public trust and ensure fair practices.
