Ramdas Soren Highlights Unfulfilled Promise of Reopening Rakha Copper Mine at JMM Office Inauguration
Ghatshila MLA Ramdas Soren inaugurated the JMM party office in Mati Goda, Jadugora, while criticizing the BJP for failing to reopen the Rakha copper mine.
JAMSHEDPUR – On Friday, Ghatshila MLA Ramdas Soren inaugurated the new JMM party office at Mati Goda in Jadugora by cutting the ceremonial ribbon.
During the event, Soren criticized the BJP for the false foundation stone laying ceremony of the closed Rakha copper mine by Hindustan Copper Limited in 2019.
He pointed out that former Chief Minister Raghuvar Das laid the foundation stone for reopening the Rakha Copper mine on February 2 during the assembly elections, but the mine, closed since 2000, remains shut.
Soren accused the BJP of betraying the public and emphasized the need to expose these false promises to every voter.
The JMM intends to use this issue to rally support among the voters of Jadugora, focusing on the unmet employment promises.
While the impact of this issue on the upcoming election will be revealed post-elections, it is expected to create significant unrest for MP Vidyut Mahato.
Party workers, including Kanhu Samant, Pradhan Soren, Manoranjan Mahato, Harmohan Mahato, Gora Purti, Susan Kalindi, Deepak Das, Mochi Ram Hansda, Chittaranjan Singh, Dinesh Chandra, Dhirai Hembram, and Dinesh Sardar, participated in the event.
The inauguration marks a strategic move for JMM to strengthen its presence and address key issues affecting the local populace.
The focus on the unfulfilled promises regarding the Rakha copper mine aims to highlight the need for employment and development in the region.
