JMM states PM Modi’s frequent Jharkhand visits will strengthen the India alliance
Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Jharkhand, suggesting his frequent visits would bolster the India alliance and highlighting the resignation of BJP state spokesperson Kunal Sarangi.
JAMSHEDPUR – JMM’s central spokesperson Supriyo Bhattacharya today remarked that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recurrent visits to Jharkhand would ultimately strengthen the India alliance.
During a recent visit to Ghatshila, PM Modi attended an election rally but did not address the issue of closed mines in the region, despite local expectations.
Supriyo Bhattacharya, JMM’s Central General Secretary, commented on the Prime Minister’s silence regarding the mines, noting the disappointment of the local populace.
Bhattacharya emphasized that JMM welcomes Modi’s repeated visits, believing they will further solidify the India alliance as the public seeks change.
He criticized the BJP for not meeting the expectations of Jharkhand’s residents.
Bhattacharya also addressed the resignation of BJP state spokesperson Kunal Sarangi, suggesting Sarangi had realized the lack of respect he received over the past five years.
“Kunal must now understand the BJP’s policies,” Bhattacharya stated.
He accused the BJP of disrespecting Sarangi and the youth of the state.
Bhattacharya hinted at the possibility of Sarangi joining JMM, mentioning that details would be revealed after a high-level decision.
JMM predicts a significant increase in votes for their candidate in each assembly constituency of the Jamshedpur parliamentary area in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Bhattacharya asserted, "The public’s desire for change is evident, and JMM is ready to meet their expectations."
Local political analysts believe that Modi’s frequent visits might indeed influence voter sentiment.
BJP members, however, remain confident in their strategy.
A BJP insider remarked, "Our efforts will resonate with the voters in Jharkhand."
Suresh Kumar, a local political observer, commented, "The dynamic between JMM and BJP is intensifying as elections approach."
