JAMSHEDPUR – A tragic accident involving a Singh Travels bus on its way from Jamshedpur to Arrah, Bihar, occurred near Ormanjhi, Ranchi.
The mishap resulted in the death of two passengers from Jamshedpur and injuries to more than a dozen others.
The collision happened when a dumper, approaching from the opposite direction, struck the high-speed bus near Ukrid in the Ormanjhi block.
Vishwanath Singh, 51, from Kataria, Arrah, Bihar, was one of the deceased; he was a resident of Mango, Jamshedpur, working at the Madhusudan Building.
Singh’s daughter, who was accompanying him, sustained injuries in the accident.
One victim succumbed to injuries on the spot, while another passed away during treatment in the hospital.
The incident prompted chaos and distress, highlighting the dangers of high-speed travel and road safety concerns.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the collision as the local community mourns the loss and prays for the recovery of the injured.
