Yoga Awareness Program Inspires Young Minds at Rajendra Girls Middle School
Rajendra Balika Madhya Vidyalaya, Parsudih, recently witnessed enthusiastic participation in a yoga awareness program, emphasizing the importance of yoga in daily life.
JAMSHEDPUR – After the morning assembly, the students of Rajendra Girls Middle School in Parsudih enthusiastically participated in a yoga awareness program.
Patanjali Yuva Bharat’s District In-charge, Narendra Kumar, addressed the students, stressing the universal relevance of yoga for everyone, from school children to national leaders.
Kumar highlighted that yoga encompasses not just physical exercises but all healthy and virtuous activities performed throughout the day.
The program featured various yoga practices, including Tadasana, Tiryaka Tadasana, Vrikshasana, and Surya Namaskar.
Activities like Yogic Jogging, Lion Roar, Hashasana, and Talivadan were also part of the session, engaging students in diverse yoga forms.
The students actively participated, chanting slogans like "Do Yoga, Stay Healthy," "Do Yoga Daily," "Bharat Mata Ki Jai," and "Vande Mataram," showing their enthusiasm for yoga.
Dr. Divya Pandey and social worker Ritika Srivastava played pivotal roles in the successful organization of the event.
The school’s headmistress, Urmi Das, blessed the children, supporting their engagement in this healthy initiative.
