Warmth for Needy: Lions Club’s Saree, Shawl Distribution in Jamshedpur

Lions Club of Jamshedpur North brings joy with saree and shawl distribution to the needy near Golpahari Temple.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Lions Club of Jamshedpur North organized a heartwarming event distributing new sarees and shawls to the needy at Hanuman Temple, near Golpahari Temple.

Sponsored by Ravi Saraogi, the initiative brought comfort to around two hundred people in the severe cold.

The recipients’ joy was evident as they received the warm garments, a gesture of compassion and community support.

Club President Manik Lal Ghosh, along with R.C., played a pivotal role in the program.

Key members including Gyan Singh, Arup Ghosh, and S. Sriram contributed significantly to the event’s success.

I.S. Rao, Chandana Ghosh, I. Meenakshi, and others were instrumental in organizing this charitable project.

Granthi Bibi Gurmeet Kaur of Golpahari Gurdwara also participated, adding a spiritual dimension to the event.

The initiative exemplifies the Lions Club’s commitment to serving the community, especially during the winter season.
