Statewide BJP Rallies Against Congress’ Alleged Corruption in Jharkhand
Statewide protests in Jharkhand by BJP against Congress MP Dheeraj Sahu’s cash haul, calling for ED investigation and condemning government corruption.
JAMSHEDPUR -The BJP in Jharkhand has intensified its protests statewide following the shocking discovery of over Rs 300 crore in cash from the properties of Congress Rajya Sabha MP Dheeraj Sahu.
This incident has sparked allegations by the BJP of widespread corruption within the Congress party, specifically targeting the INDI alliance.
Demonstrations took place in various districts, including Ramgarh, Lohardaga, Bokaro, Garhwa, Chatra, and Chaibasa, as part of this statewide movement.

A significant protest occurred at Sakchi roundabout in Jamshedpur , with key BJP leaders like Chandankiyari MLA Amar Bauri and former MLA Maneka Sardar participating actively.
Protesters, armed with banners and slogans, expressed their disapproval of Chief Minister Hemant Soren and the Congress-JMM coalition.
Amar Bauri has called for an Enforcement Directorate (ED) investigation to uncover the origins and intended use of the seized cash.
In Palamu, BJP District President Vijay Anand Pathak led a protest march, transforming it into a street corner meeting, where he highlighted the implications of this cash haul on the coalition government’s integrity.
Former MP Manoj Kumar criticized the state government for misusing public money and hampering development, while other BJP leaders stressed Prime Minister Modi’s anti-corruption commitments.
The BJP is pushing for legal action against ministers implicated in corrupt activities, emphasizing the need for transparency and accountability in governance.
