XITE Marks Xavier Day with Diverse Cultural Performances and Inspiring Speeches
XITE College’s vibrant Xavier Day celebration features cultural events, motivational speeches, and a showcase of unity and diversity.
JAMSHEDPUR – Xavier Institute of Technical Education (XITE) recently celebrated Xavier Day with a flourish of cultural and creative activities.
Under the stewardship of Vice Principal Fr. Dr. Mukti Clarence, the event was meticulously organized by Dr. Radha Mahali and Prof. Akinchan Xaxa.
The celebration commenced with an introductory statement, followed by the ceremonial practices of garlanding, lamp lighting, and warm welcomes.
A prayer dance set a spiritual tone, succeeded by an enchanting semi-classical dance and a harmonious group song performance.
Arpita Sinha, a second-semester BBA student, delivered an insightful lecture addressing key contemporary issues.
The audience was then captivated by a thought-provoking skit that illuminated societal themes and ethnic nuances.
Motivational speeches were given by Fr. Vice Principal and Fr. Principal Dr. E. A. Francis, emphasizing the importance of Xavier Day in the college’s cultural ethos.
The festivities continued with a variety of performances, including a lively Nagpuri dance and a delightful wishing song.
Sumit Modak, another second-semester BBA student, extended a heartfelt vote of thanks, acknowledging the contributions of all involved in the event’s success.
Distinguished guests included Fr. Sebastian Puthenpura, Fr. Dayanidhi, Br. Amal Raj, and several esteemed professors and dignitaries.
