Jubilee Park Gate Closure Decision to Facilitate XLRI Mini-Marathon

XLRI Jamshedpur Run to temporarily Cause Jubilee Park Gate Closure, enhancing the 12th Jamshedpur Run experience.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Jubilee Park Gate will be closed until 9 am on Sunday, December 3, 2023, due to the XLRI Jamshedpur Run.

TSUISL Corporate Communications announced this development.

TSUISL officer Rakesh Kumar Pandey explained the closure facilitates the run.

The 12th “Jamshedpur Run,” a collaborative effort by XLRI and CII Young Indians, Jamshedpur Chapter, is set for December 3, 2023.

This mini-marathon, a community and fitness event, has gained popularity over the years.

Starting from XLRI, the 5 KM run will wind through Jubilee Park and other landmarks, concluding back at the campus.

Participants include students, professors, athletes, professionals, and dignitaries.

The event promises over Rs. 55,000 in prizes.

Runners are categorized into male, female, and children divisions.

The run commences at 6 am, with participants gathering at XLRI’s Football Ground at 5:15 am.

Past editions have attracted high participation, with over 1000 people expected this year.

Students can register for free, while others pay a nominal fee of Rs. 50.

Registration is available through schools and online via a QR code.
