RANCHI – Babulal Marandi, the state president of BJP in Jharkhand, initiated the ‘Tribal Rights Rally’ in Bhognadih, Sahibganj, by honoring tribal martyrs Sido-Kanhu, Chand-Bhairav, and heroines Phulo-Jhano.
Marandi’s launch coincided with Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s visit to Sahibganj.
In a bold critique, Marandi accused Hemant Soren of being out of touch with reality and criticized the Soren family’s alleged exploitation of tribal rights.
He questioned the family’s self-proclaimed role as tribal messiahs and highlighted their controversial reputation beyond Jharkhand.
Marandi expressed a strong disapproval of any association with the Soren family, alleging their betrayal of the Jharkhand movement.
He accused the Sorens of jeopardizing Jharkhand’s identity and exploiting tribal lands for financial gain.
The BJP leader warned of a public reckoning in the 2024 elections, implying potential political shifts.
