DM Inspects Swarnarekha Gandhi Ghat, Stresses on Safety and Cleanliness for Chhath

District officials ensure safety and order at Swarnarekha Gandhi Ghat during Chhath festival.
JAMSHEDPUR – In preparation for Chhath, the significant festival of public faith, District Magistrate-cum-Deputy Commissioner Shri Manjunath Bhajantri conducted an inspection of the Swarnarekha Gandhi Ghat.
The visit was focused on assessing and ensuring the maintenance of law and order at the site.
During the inspection, Bhajantri highlighted that the safety and convenience of devotees are of utmost importance.
He emphasized the extensive arrangements made by the district administration to safeguard and facilitate the devotees at all Chhath Ghats.
Bhajantri stated that various officials, including the deputed magistrate, police officers, municipal bodies, traffic, electricity, and disaster management teams, are diligently working to ensure a safe and orderly environment at the ghats.
Additionally, drones are being used to monitor some locations.
He appealed to the devotees visiting the Chhath Ghats to maintain cleanliness and help keep the ghats neat.
The DM reassured that the district administration is fully prepared to assist and protect everyone during the festival.
Accompanying the District Magistrate were City SP Mr. Mukesh Lunayat, SDM Dhalbhum Mr. Piyush Sinha, Additional Deputy Commissioner Mr. Jaideep Tigga, ADM Law and Order Mr. Rajeev Ranjan, District Public Relations Officer Mr. Rohit Kumar, and other officials.
Their collective presence underscores the administration’s commitment to ensuring a peaceful and orderly Chhath celebration in Jamshedpur.
