Former Minister Seeks Blessings for Area’s Progress in Gobindpur

Lav Kush Vikas Samiti distributed gifts to fasting devotees during Chhath in Gadda Gobindpur, with ex-minister Ramchandra Sahis seeking blessings for local welfare.

JAMSHEDPUR – Today, on Friday, November 17, 2023, the Lav Kush Vikas Samiti extended their support to the Chhath fasting devotees in Gadda Gobindpur by distributing 151 packages containing suups, coconuts, and various fruits.

The event took place at 1 pm near Vikas Bhawan in Gobindpur Gadda.

Former Jharkhand Government Minister Ramchandra Sahis graced the occasion as the chief guest.

Other dignitaries present included AJSU Party East Singhbhum District Incharge Prof. Ravi Shankar Maurya, District President Kanhaiya Singh, Spokesperson Appu Tiwari, and District Secretary Arup Mallik.

During the distribution, Ramchandra Sahis sought blessings from the fasting devotees.

He emphasized the importance of Chhath, a major festival of folk faith, in bringing prosperity and happiness to the area.

Sahis also highlighted the need for proper development in the region.

Notable community members like Devendra Singh, Sanjay Singh, Chief Juhi Besra, Devendra Kumar Singh, Banshilal Singh, Dharamveer Singh, Lakhi Kant Mahato, and Viren Swarnkar also participated in this event.

The distribution of items like suups, coconut, lemon, apples, banana, and other fruits was a gesture of goodwill towards those observing the fast.
