CP Radhakrishnan to Attend the Closing Ceremony at Children’s Park Fair Finale

Governor CP Radhakrishnan confirms to attend the 5-day children’s fair’s closing ceremony in Sidhgora, Jamshedpur.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Children’s Park in Sidhgora, Jamshedpur, is gearing up for the grand finale of its 5-day children’s fair, set to conclude with the closing ceremony presided over by Governor CP Radhakrishnan.

The closing event is scheduled for 2:00 pm on November 24.

MLA Saryu Roy, representing the organizers, met with the Governor to extend the invitation as the chief guest, which he graciously accepted.

The fair, which will begin on November 20th, World Children’s Day, is a collaborative effort between the Swarnarekha Area Development Trust and the Jharkhand State Child Protection Commission.

It has been a hub of activities and learning for students and teachers from Jamshedpur and neighboring schools, featuring over a dozen sports competitions.

The fair’s focus extends beyond physical activities, emphasizing intellectual and mental development programs for children.

A notable event includes a seminar on child rights protection, scheduled for November 22, with National Child Protection Commission Chairman Priyank Kanungo as a key speaker.

He will be joined by Kajal Yadav, Chairperson of the Jharkhand State Child Protection Commission, and members Sunil Verma and Sanjay Mishra.

The District Legal Services Authority (DALSA) and several child-related departments of the district administration are participating in the fair.

Additionally, NCERT and the National Book Trust of the Government of India will have official representation and set up stalls.

Approximately 50 stalls will be featured, including those from DALSA, NCERT, National Book Trust, Prabhat Prakashan, and ten district administration departments.

The fair promises a rich program of activities focused on child psychology and entertainment, creating a vibrant and educational environment for all attendees.
