In a heartbreaking incident in Jamshedpur, an 18-year-old painter loses his life following a collision with a trailer, casting a shadow over road safety in the area.
JAMSHEDPUR – A tragic accident under the Sitaramdera police station jurisdiction in Jamshedpur has led to the untimely death of a young man.
The incident occurred on Wednesday night in the Burmamines area.
Pratham Bhuiya, 18, and his friend Vikas Khalko were en route to Tatanagar station for tea when tragedy struck.
As they navigated a turn at the Barmines roundabout, their bike was hit by a trailer.
Both friends sustained injuries in the accident.
Upon reaching MGM hospital, Bhuiya was tragically declared dead by the attending doctors.
Khalko, who was accompanying Bhuiya, narrated that the accident took place around 9:30 pm.
He recalled being thrown off the bike and losing consciousness, while Bhuiya lay injured at the scene.
After regaining consciousness, Khalko, with the help of bystanders, rushed Bhuiya to the hospital.
The deceased was known for working as a painter alongside his father.
This incident has raised concerns about road safety measures in Jamshedpur, especially in high-traffic areas like Burmamines.
