82-year-old Sentenced to 22 Years for violating Minor

Chokro alias Chokro Tiyu, 82, from Barijal village sentenced to 22 years for violating an 8-year-old girl; judgment by First Additional District and Sessions Judge.

JAMSHEDPUR – Chokro alias Chokro Tiyu, 82, of Barijal village, was sentenced to 22 years and harsh imprisonment.

He was accused of violating an 8-year-old girl.

The First Additional District and Sessions Judge Omprakash delivered the sentence and imposed a fine of Rs 10,000.

Mufassil police recorded the complaint on November 6, 2021.

The incident occurred when the accused lured the two sisters to the field and violated the younger one.

The accused ran from the field while the family searched for the daughters.

After a thorough examination of the situation, the family sued Chokro Tiyu.

The court subsequently convicted him, finding him guilty of violating a minor.
