Burglar Flees After Family Wakes, Police Investigating with CCTV Footage

A burglar stole cash from a Jamshedpur home but fled when the family awoke. The incident, caught on CCTV, is under police investigation.

JAMSHEDPUR – A burglary took place last night at the residence of Sudeep Das in Bagunhatu B Block, under the jurisdiction of Sidhgora police station, Jamshedpur.

The thief managed to steal cash from Sudeep’s purse but fled when the family members woke up.

This incident was entirely captured on the household’s CCTV system.

Sudeep Das discovered the theft upon waking up in the morning.

He immediately reported the incident to the Sidhgora police station.

According to Sudeep, he and his family were asleep when the thief entered their home around 2 AM.

The burglar stole Rs 6,300 in cash from a purse in their room and was attempting to enter another room when the family woke up, causing the intruder to flee.

Sudeep confirmed that the thief’s image has been captured on their CCTV system.

The police are currently utilizing this footage to identify and locate the suspect.
