Tata Motors Celebrates Independence Day with Grandeur; Honors Special Olympics Gold Medalist

The Sumant Mulgaonkar Stadium in Telco was abuzz with patriotic fervor as Tata Motors celebrated India’s 77th Independence Day. School performances, recognitions, and an emphasis on corporate accomplishments marked the day.

JAMSHEDPUR – Tata Motors hosted its grand celebration of the 77th Independence Day at Sumant Moolgaonkar Stadium.

The event was marked by a sense of patriotism and pride, echoing the values and achievements of the nation.

The Plant Head, Ravindra Kulkarni, led the event, saluting the national flag, symbolizing the unity and integrity of India. The ceremony was followed by school teams from Telco performing a march past and a captivating cultural show.

Little Flower School, Vivek School, and Vidya Bharti Chinmaya School marched in unison, portraying a disciplined and united front. The cultural programs witnessed competitive performances, with Little Flower School and ABMP School Rahargoda earning accolades.

A special highlight of the event was the recognition of Poonam Kumari, a resident of Telco Colony, who is a Special Olympics gold medalist. Her achievements brought immense pride to the gathering.

The plant manager addressed the audience, emphasizing corporate accomplishments, production advancements, and future goals. He showcased the growth and commitment of Tata Motors to excellence.

In a noteworthy acknowledgment, the Tata Motors Horticulture Department earned acclaim for landscaping the new Parliament House lawn, reflecting a unique contribution to the nation’s heritage.

The event culminated in a shared sense of pride, community, and achievement, encapsulating the spirit of Independence Day.
