Kolkata Man Attacked by Bull at Dalma, Hospitalized with Serious Injuries

During a visit to Shiva temple on the mountain in Dalma, a man was attacked and injured by a bull; currently under treatment at MGM Hospital.

JAMSHEDPUR – A chance visit to Dalma turned sour for Dilip Paul, a resident of Dumdum area in Kolkata.

His friend, Ajit Chatterjee, recounted how they traveled from Kolkata to Ghatshila with friends. To provide water to the Shiva temple on the mountain in Dalma, they had gone there. However, a bull attacked his friend as soon as he turned away after worshiping, raising him from behind three to four times and pounding him.

His head, limbs, and legs all sustained wounds, and the situation turned serious. After the event, he was rushed to MGM Hospital for treatment, where his condition is still critical.

After conducting puja at Dalma with four of his friends from Dumdum, Kolkata, Dilip Paul was the victim of the bull attack. When he and his pals arrived, they brought water for Dalma.

His family has been made aware of the occurrence, and the shocking incident has raised concerns over safety in the area.
