Jamshedpur Excise Department Demolishes Two Illegal Liquor Distilleries

Excise Department in Jamshedpur raids and demolishes two illegal liquor distilleries in Bodam police station area; 1000 kg Java Mahua and 40 liters of country liquor recovered.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Jamshedpur Excise Department is tirelessly working to clamp down on illegal liquor operations in the region.

In a recent move, the department took strict action by demolishing two liquor distilleries in the Bodam police station area.

The Excise Department received a confidential tip-off that liquor distilleries were being operated illegally in two villages under the jurisdiction of Bodam police station.

Upon receiving this tip, they swiftly conducted a raid in the area.

Finding the information accurate, two distilleries were demolished on the spot.

During this operation, the Excise Department recovered 1000 kg of Java Mahua and 40 liters of country liquor.

At present, the police are gathering information about the operators of the furnaces.

Once identified, strict action will be taken against those responsible.
