Jamshedpur Gears Up for Annual Children’s Fair at Sidhgora Children’s Park

The Swarnarekha Area Development Trust (SADT) to host a weeklong Children’s Fair in Sidhgora Children’s Park, as MLA Saryu Roy announces a range of competitive events, performances, and fun activities for children.

JAMSHEDPUR – The annual Children’s Fair is set to return to Sidhgora Children’s Park, hosted by the Swarnarekha Area Development Trust (SADT). The planning for the event has already begun, with the fair to be held between November 20 and November 26.

The meeting on Friday at the Bistupur office included MLA for Jamshedpur East, Saryu Roy, the SADT trustees Ashok Goyal and Asutosh Rai, the education representative S. P. Singh, the private secretary Sudhir Singh, and the Merry Me Event trustees Anand Kumar and Rajesh Kumar, Sunil Singh, Raj Singh, among others.

This year’s Children’s Fair, planned by the "Merry Me Event" agency, promises to be lengthier and more child-focused than last year’s, according to Saryu Roy. The fair will feature activities for children in kindergarten through tenth grade, including sports like table tennis, kabaddi, volleyball, badminton, chess, carom, and swimming.

Educational elements such as scientific demonstrations, kid-friendly movies, fancy-dress contests, kiddie songs and dances, and painting will also be part of the fair. Motivational talks on exams and career prospects, as well as kid-focused booths and displays, are scheduled.

Artists from different states throughout the nation will entertain the children, and participation will be open to students from both private and public schools.

The event, held in honor of International Children’s Day, will see extensive preparations and is expected to become an eagerly anticipated occasion for families in the region.
