BJP Kisan Morcha Seeks Drought Declaration in Jharkhand Amid Weak Monsoon

BJP’s Kisan Morcha in Jamshedpur has requested a drought declaration in Jharkhand due to weak monsoon, further urging effective implementation of central government schemes for farmers.

JAMSHEDPUR – BJP Kisan Morcha in Jamshedpur recently presented a demand letter to the Deputy Commissioner of the district, calling for the state to be declared as experiencing drought due to the inadequate monsoon season.

Muchiram Bauri, the District President of Kisan Morcha, expressed concerns over the unfavorable monsoon conditions across the state, which have impeded farming activities.

The Kisan Morcha has urged that declaring a state-wide drought is the viable option to provide respite for the struggling farmers.

Furthermore, the Morcha has demanded the implementation of central government schemes for farmers in Jharkhand, in order to provide them with additional support during these challenging times.
