Seraikela BJYM Protests Over Assistant Teacher Appointment Anomalies

BJYM’s one-day demonstration at Seraikela district over the state government’s teacher appointment process discrepancies.

SERAIKELA – BJYM organized a one-day sit-in demonstration at the district headquarters on Thursday, protesting discrepancies in the Assistant Teacher Recruitment Examination conducted by the Jharkhand Government.

The examination was meant for the recruitment of 26,000 assistant teachers.

BJYM demands the state government to revise the recruitment process immediately to ensure fairness and transparency.

BJYM District President Avishek Acharya spoke out about the state government’s misleading tactics.

He expressed concerns that the restoration process hasn’t begun yet, and the matter has already reached the High Court.

He also highlighted the plight of CTET pass candidates who, due to flawed government policies, might be denied employment opportunities.

Mr. Acharya stated that despite thousands of state’s youths completing their BEd and JET every year in hope of securing employment, the flawed policies prevent many from getting jobs.

Furthermore, he criticized the undefined local policy, suggesting it could deprive local youth of employment opportunities.

Acharya warned that if these issues aren’t addressed, BJYM will continue its opposition, from the roads to the houses, against the government’s decision.
