Abhishek Mishra, who was shot by Mango builder Deepak Chaudhary in Jamshedpur, succumbed to his injuries after 58 days of treatment in RIMS, turning the case into a homicide.
JAMSHEDPUR – The shocking case of gun violence, that had taken place some two months back in Sahara City Jamshedpur, has now taken a dark turn as the gun shot victim Abhishek Mishra has succumbed succumbed to his injuries at RIMS.
Abhishek Mishra was shot by Deepak Chaudhary, a builder from Mango, Jamshedpur, during a dispute over a delivery with a Flipkart delivery boy.

Mishra was hospitalized for 58 days before his unfortunate demise. With his death, the case against Chaudhary now transforms into a homicide.
The incident originated when Chaudhary, a resident of Sahara City, allegedly ordered some mangoes through Flipkart.
The delivery agent Rishu Singh was delivering the order when Chaudhary refused to accept it. An argument ensued, leading Chaudhary to brandish a weapon and fire at Singh.
However, instead of hitting Singh, the bullet tragically struck Abhishek Mishra of Sahara City.
The police apprehended Chaudhary and his driver, Bhushan Mahato, within 24 hours of the incident, as confirmed by the City SP K Vijay Shankar at that time.
Both individuals were arrested and the weapon used in the crime was confiscated.
The Mango police’s prompt response led to the timely capture of the accused.
As the case has now escalated into a murder investigation, further inquiries are underway.
