Police Seize Firearm, Bullets, and Mobile in Breakthrough Arrest

JAMSHEDPUR – The Jamshedpur police achieved another breakthrough in the Abhishek Hembram murder case under the Parsudih police station area. Vishwanath Lohar (31), an accused in the case, has been arrested and sent to judicial custody. Police also seized a country-made pistol, two live bullets, and a mobile phone from him.
The case, which has seen significant developments over recent weeks, had earlier led to the arrests of Roshan Hembram and Bhola Hembram alias Bhola Honhaga on November 29. Both were taken into judicial custody.
On November 20, another key accused, Rajesh Karmakar (25), surrendered before the court. He was taken into police remand for 72 hours on December 10. Based on Karmakar’s confession and indications, the police recovered the scooty (registration number JH05C X 3616) used during the crime from his house premises.
Further, Vishwanath Lohar’s involvement was confirmed, leading to his arrest on December 12. His interrogation resulted in the seizure of a country-made pistol, two live bullets, and a mobile phone, critical pieces of evidence in the case.
The arrests and recovery mark significant progress in the Abhishek Hembram murder investigation, and police efforts continue to identify and apprehend any remaining suspects.
