Sitaramdera Police Spearhead Anti-Drug Education Initiative

Sitaramdera police take a stand against drug abuse, reaching out to youngsters in congested areas to promote de-addiction and good civic conduct.

JAMSHEDPUR – The district police, under the direction of the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), are on a mission to educate the public about the perils of drug addiction.

Not content to simply arrest those involved in the illegal narcotics trade, the police have been making strides in raising awareness by venturing into crowded areas to interact directly with the public.

In a recent campaign, the Sitaramdera police team engaged with the youth in the park near Tinmuhani Chowk, discussing with them the gravity of drug abuse.

Speaking to the children, teenagers, and young adults there, the police representatives shared information about their de-addiction initiative.

They urged the young audience to steer clear of dangerous substances like brown sugar, ganja, and dendroid, and to refrain from participating in the illegal drug trade.

The officers also took this opportunity to advise against criminal activities such as theft, snatching, and reckless driving, promoting overall moral and legal conduct in the community.
