JWU Female Students Shine at District Level Inter College Sports Competition

Female athletes from Jamshedpur Women’s University impress at the 2023 District Level Inter College Sports Competition, hosted by RVS College of Engineering and Technology.

JAMSHEDPUR – The female athletes of Jamshedpur Women’s University (JWU) have become the talk of the town following their impressive performance at the District Level Inter College Sports Competition-2023.

Vice-Chancellor of JWU, Anjila Gupta, proudly declared that the university’s female students truly stunned everyone with their sporting prowess.

Throughout various contests, the women of JWU demonstrated exceptional skill and determination.

While the University clinched the win in basketball, it also made a strong impression by securing the second place in the girls’ volleyball match.

The event saw a total of five teams competing fiercely in games including chess, football, basketball, volleyball, and carrom.

Participation was marked from notable institutions such as NSU, LBSM College, Arka Jain University, and the host, RVS College of Engineering and Technology.

The event was held on a Monday at the RVS College of Engineering and Technology campus in Jamshedpur.
