Grave Road Accident in Seraikela: Speeding trailer Hits Family Car

In a tragic accident on the Seraikela-Kandra major road, a speeding trailer hits a family car resulting in severe injuries and ongoing investigation.

JAMSHEDPUR – In an unfortunate turn of events, the Patnaik family of Seraikela suffered grave injuries when their vehicle was hit head-on by a speeding trailer.

This incident occurred on the Seraikela-Kandra major road, near the Seraikela police station.

The wounded – Swagat Patnaik, his mother Amrita Patnaik, and his father Subhash Patnaik – were returning home in a rented vehicle when the trailer, moving at a high speed, crashed into them.

Post-collision, the trailer got lodged beneath the highway, exacerbating the situation further.

The driver of the rented vehicle, however, could not be located following the mishap.

Locals, responding quickly to the crisis, arranged for a road ambulance to transport the Patnaik family to the nearest hospital for immediate treatment.

Swagat Patnaik, who incurred serious head injuries in the collision, has been reported to be in a critical state.

Upon initial treatment, the victims were further referred to MGM, Jamshedpur for specialized care.

As news of the event reached the Seraikela police, an investigation was promptly launched into the matter, even as medical assistance was provided to the injured.
