Gangster Amarnath Singh Shot Dead in Dumka

Gangster Amarnath Singh from Jamshedpur was gunned down near the Basukinath temple, causing fear and chaos in the area.

JAMSHEDPUR – Notorious criminal Amarnath Singh was brutally shot dead near the Basukinath temple in Jarmundi, just 100 meters from the local police station, late Thursday night.

The criminals, disguised as Kanwariyas, fired six to seven rounds before fleeing the scene, leaving Singh’s nephew and eyewitness, Manish Kumar, in shock.

Amarnath Singh was a resident of Krishna Nagar Mango in Jamshedpur.

His wife and four children were shopping in the nearby market at the time of the incident, oblivious of the tragic fate that had befallen their husband and father.

Eyewitness Account

Manish Kumar, Singh’s nephew, recounted how the killers, disguised as devotees, pulled weapons from their bags and carried out the assassination before fleeing. The police force, led by police inspector Dayanand Sah, promptly arrived on the scene after receiving information about the incident.

Link to the Ganesh Gang

Unconfirmed sources suggest that Singh had a long-standing feud with the Ganesh gang, which may have contributed to his untimely demise.

Singh had multiple criminal charges against him, further complicating the investigation into his murder.

Hours before his killing, there was a violent encounter between members of the Amarnath gang and the police in Ghatshila.

It has led to speculation that Singh’s murder might have been premeditated.

The Encounter at Bholenath Dhaba, Ghatshila

In the encounter at Bholenath Dhaba in Kapagoda, Ghatshila, a member of the Amarnath gang, Sajan Mishra, was injured.

The police have arrested six people, including Mishra, following the incident.

Mishra, who had numerous cases against him, had been on the run for quite some time. His arrest is being seen as a major breakthrough by the police.

Gangster Amarnath Singh from Jamshedpur was assassinated about a few hours after the encounter in Ghatshila.
