Kargil Vijay Diwas Commemorated by Ex-Servicemen’s body in Jamshedpur
In memory of Kargil war heroes, the Akhil Bharatiya Purva Sainik Seva Parishad, Jamshedpur, pays tribute at Golmuri Shaheed Sthal, marking Kargil Vijay Diwas.
JAMSHEDPUR – Members of the local community, together with the military matri-shakti, took part in the Kargil Vijay Diwas commemoration organised by the Akhil Bharatiya Purva Sainik Seva Parishad, Jamshedpur.
Presence of distinguished personalities such as Poonam Kanchan, Urmila, Rekha, and other civil society members marked the occasion.
Birender Singh, Siyaram Singh, Daya Bhushan Sharma, Ramesh Prasad, Krishna Mohan Singh, YK Mishra, Ravi Shankar Mishra, Umesh Sharma, Amar Nath Doke, Kumar, BC Hansad, Shashi Bhushan Singh, Naveen Kumar Sinha, Gautam Lal, Dayanand Singh, KN Singh, and Veena Bhavna joined the gathering.
The commemoration was enriched by the presence of individuals such as Jasbir Singh, Satendra Singh, Krishna Dahal, Savana Tudu, Kishori Prasad, Kundan Singh, Birju Kumar, Jitendra Singh, Manoj Singh, Nirmal Kumar, Pankaj Sharma, Deepak Sharma, Naval Kishore Pathak, Dhaneshwar Barik, Dheeraj Singh, and Santosh Kumar.
The Kargil War heroes’ valor and bravery were celebrated by various groups and individuals, including Varun Kumar, Kargil War Veer Manik Wardha, Awadhesh Kumar, Vimal Ojha, Umesh Rajput, Satya Prakash, and Sukhwinder Singh.
Havildar Vinay, the district president of the Parishad, along with other Parishad members and city residents, showed their respect and paid tribute to the brave Kargil martyrs.
The occasion was enriched by the presence of retired Indian Army officer SK Singh and former Indian Navy officer Amarnath Dhoke, fresh from the Kargil Dras Yatra, who offered their respects to the fallen heroes of the Kargil conflict.
All three armies’ brave retired soldiers, alongside the Parishad members and the city’s patriotic citizens, paid homage to the 527 fallen warriors of the Kargil War at Golmuri Martyr Sthal, marking Kargil Vijay Diwas.
