DDC Manish Kumar Reviews Development Schemes in East Singhbhum
The Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC) reviews the progress of multiple projects and pushes for the acceleration of initiatives and compliance with monitoring systems.
JAMSHEDPUR – Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC) Manish Kumar, on the directives of the Deputy Commissioner, examined the execution of development plans across East Singhbhum.
Kumar instructed block development officers (BDOs) to implement more than six projects per village under MNREGA, with Bodam, Musabani, Jamshedpur, and Gudabandha blocks already having more than five programmes showing positive results.
To further man day development, all blocks were directed to achieve 100% compliance by July 25.
Currently, only 42% of inspection reports are uploaded to the Area Officer App, with Gudambada, Patmada, Potka, and Ghatshila having less than 40% compliance.
The BDOs from these areas were instructed to improve their reporting.
Instructions were also given to prioritise the completion of the Veer Shaheed Poto Ho Khel Maidan Yojana and the Anganwadi building Yojana.
To accelerate Ambedkar housing development, where the district ranks fourth in the state, DDC Kumar is pushing for more progress.
East Singhbhum currently ranks first in the state for the development of Prime Minister’s housing.
The Aadhaar-based payment system, inactive accounts, and bank accounts without linked Aadhaar numbers were all instructed to achieve 100% progress by the end of July.
The DDC’s intensive inspection and instructions reflect the district’s commitment to improving development outcomes and ensuring efficient use of resources.
