Aadi Pooram Celebrations Begin with Havan and Pujas at Sri Rama Koti Paduka Ashramam in Kadma

Two-day Aadi Pooram celebrations at Sri Rama Koti Paduka Ashramam kickstart with traditional havan and pujas, led by revered spiritual leaders and drawing numerous devotees.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Sri Rama Koti Paduka Ashramam, located in Farm Area, Kadma, commenced the two-day festivities of Aadi Pooram with traditional havan and pujas on Saturday.

The ceremonies started with a havan for Sri Maha Ganapati, followed by a Sri Chandi havan.

The spiritual proceedings were led by notable religious leaders including Sri Subramanya Ganapatigal from Mumbai and Sri Ramachandra Joshi, Sri Sankar Kulkarni, and Sri Madhav Shastri from Pune.

Following the Purnahuti performance, the grand Maha arati was carried out, after which prasad was distributed to hundreds of devotees by the members of the Ashram committee.

During the evening, the women of the Ashram conducted Maha Arati and recited sacred texts including Sri Lalita Sahasranama, Sri Maha Lakshmi Ashtottaranama, and Sri Mahishasura Mardini sloka.

The Ashram Committee later handed out bangles and other gifts to all the female devotees.
