JAMSHEDPUR – Tata Steel’s Inter-Divisional Kabaddi Tournament for men concluded with Wire Division, Maharashtra emerging victorious at the Armoury Ground.

The two-day event, organized by Tata Steel Sports Department, showcased remarkable talent and sportsmanship.

Moreover, 144 participants from 12 Tata Steel units demonstrated their skills on the kabaddi mat.

In a thrilling display of athleticism, Wire Division, Maharashtra claimed the top spot.

Meanwhile, West Bokaro Division secured the runner-up position, showcasing their competitive spirit.

On the other hand, Tata Steel Kalinganagar’s team clinched the second runner-up title.

The tournament’s success highlighted Tata Steel’s commitment to promoting sports among its workforce.

Furthermore, the event fostered camaraderie and healthy competition among employees.

Runa Rajeev Kumar, Head of Corporate Communication for Jharkhand, graced the occasion as the chief guest.

In addition, Renu Bhaduria and Punam Singh attended as guests of honor during the concluding ceremony.

The technical aspects of the tournament were expertly managed by a team of officials.

Tilak Ram Sahu, Jaswant Kumar, and Ramesh Kumar contributed their expertise to ensure fair play.

Besides, Basanti Mahato, Nitu Kumari, and Ajay Hembrom also played crucial roles as technical officials.

The event served as an excellent platform for employees to showcase their kabaddi prowess.
