SERAIKELA – The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) has experienced a significant setback with multiple resignations from its Saraikela unit.

Suryaraj Singhdev, JMM’s Saraikela Nagar President, stepped down on Tuesday, September 17.

He cited personal reasons for his departure in a letter to the JMM District President.

Singhdev relinquished both his position and primary party membership.

Meanwhile, several other key members followed suit with their resignations.

Rajendra Mahanty, also known as Lipu Mahanty, quit as Saraikela Nagar Secretary.

Vice President Azambar Mukhi also tendered his resignation from the party.

Moreover, Organization Secretary Ravi Shankar Mahanty stepped down from his role.

Two more Vice Presidents, Manbodh Kumar Daroga and Sapan Kamila, joined the exodus.

Additionally, Dashrathi Parichha resigned from his position as a Social Media member.

All these leaders have given up their primary membership along with their official posts.

"This mass resignation signals internal issues within the party," commented a local political analyst.

The JMM leadership has yet to respond to these sudden departures.

In conclusion, these resignations may potentially impact JMM’s influence in the Saraikela region.
