JAMSHEDPUR – The Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav programme, a national initiative aimed at sparking children’s interest in science, welcomed 90 students from Kashidih High School to the National Metallurgical Laboratory (NML).

The high schoolers were part of a larger group of 188 students participating in the programme, organized by NML.

Led by Mr. Kamlesh Ojha, Deepti Rani Mishra, Shashikala, and Santosh, the students got a first-hand look at the inner workings of a real-life scientific research environment at NML.

Through this visit, the students not only understood the scientific process but also witnessed the practical applications of the knowledge they gain in classrooms.

The trip was organized under the banner of the Atal Tinkering Club, a platform that encourages students to tinker and innovate, thus fostering a culture of scientific inquiry and innovation.
