Timken India Hosts Recruitment Drive at Arka Jain University, Lands Two Students High-Paying Jobs
International leader, Timken India’s recruitment event at Arka Jain University results in the hiring of two B.Tech. mechanical students after a rigorous three-round selection process.
JAMSHEDPUR – In an event that has sparked joy and excitement among university students, Arka Jain University announced that two of its B.Tech. mechanical students, Neha Kumari and Gaurav, secured employment with Timken India.
The international business conglomerate held a recruitment drive at the university on Friday, focused on mechanical engineers with a diploma.
A total of 40 students participated in the recruitment process, which involved three challenging rounds of interviews, including a written examination, a technical interview, and a personal interview.
The students’ new roles will be based at Mahindra World City in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu.
With an annual compensation of three lakh rupees, the new employees are also eligible for a host of benefits including three months of accommodation, free cafeteria access, transport, and uniform.
Expressing their delight at the placements, Prof. Ashwani Kumar, Head of B.Tech. Mechanical, and Head of Placement Himanshu Sinha lauded the students.
The university anticipates more such recruitment drives in the future, with a number of Tata Group companies and similar global firms scheduled to visit the institution.
