Electoral Literacy Workshop Held at Sheyn International School

Voting rights awareness boosted among students via an educational workshop at Sheyn School.

JAMSHEDPUR – Sheyn International School, in association with the Seraikela-Kharsawan district administration, has recently hosted an informative workshop on electoral literacy.

The aim of this session was to educate the students about their voting rights, thereby fostering a sense of responsible citizenship among them.

The workshop was attended by the teachers and students from the secondary and senior secondary sections of the school, and it was lauded for its educative content.

In preparation for the commencement of the event, Pushpa Bhalla, Principal (Academic) of Sheyn International School, extended a warm welcome to the district administrative officers.

The audience was then addressed by Mrityunjoy Kumar, the Block Development Officer for Seraikela-Kharsawan District, Dr. Sudha, the Executive Magistrate for Seraikela, and Shankar Sathpati, the Master Trainer for Gamharia block.

The workshop presented a detailed overview of the entire election process, thereby offering a deeper understanding of its intricate mechanisms.

By the end of the session, the participants were imbued with the strong message that exercising one’s right to vote is a privilege and a grave responsibility, contributing to the strength of our nation as the world’s largest democracy.
