Senior BJP Leaders Jainarayan Singh and Kishori Lal Cremated, Party Mourns
Jainarayan Singh, a stalwart of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Jamshedpur, and Kishori Lal, former president of the BJP Govindpur Mandal, have passed away, leading to a wave of mourning across the party ranks.
JAMSHEDPUR – The BJP in Jamshedpur is in mourning following the death of two of its leaders, Jainarayan Singh and Kishori Lal.
They were cremated on Tuesday, leaving a significant void in the local political landscape. Singh, from Birsanagar, and Lal, from Govindpur, were cremated by their respective sons at the Bhuiandih crematorium.
Last Respects and Tribute
The farewell ceremonies saw the presence of key BJP figures, including the party’s National Vice President and former Chief Minister, Raghuvar Das, and MP Vidyut Varan Mahato. A number of party leaders, office bearers, and workers participated in the final journey.
The late leaders’ bodies were respectfully covered with the party’s flag, and wreaths were offered. Both homes saw gatherings of BJP leaders paying their last respects, leaving many with moist eyes.
Reactions from the Party
Expressing his condolences, former Chief Minister Raghuvar Das emphasized the significant role played by both late leaders in strengthening the BJP. He referred to them as a source of inspiration for the workers, embodying dedication and hard work.
Similarly, MP Bidyut Mahato highlighted the irreparable loss the party has experienced with the demise of these leaders.
He offered condolences to the bereaved families, praying for peace for the departed souls.
Final Farewell
Among the many who paid tribute at the Swarnarekha Burning Ghat were former Chief Minister Raghubar Das, MP Bidyut Baran Mahato, Jamshedpur Mahanagar President Gunjan Yadav, along with hundreds of party workers. The last rites saw a surge of emotion, and the loss was deemed irreparable by many in the party.
