PMAY-HFA (Urban) Advances with Housing Fair in Birsanagar
Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee hosts a housing fair for the affordable housing project under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban).
JAMSHEDPUR – The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban), championed by the Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee, is ushering in a new era of affordable housing in Birsanagar, Jamshedpur.
The project, a massive undertaking, will consist of 9592 houses built in a G+8 structure across 32 blocks.
To bring the beneficiaries closer to the realization of their homes, a housing fair was organized in Birsanagar on July 11.

Taking place at the Birsanagar Housing Project site, the event saw participation from prominent banks like Canara Bank, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, Indian Bank, and Union Bank.
Since the project’s initiation, houses have been allocated to several beneficiaries in phases.
In the first phase, 3836 beneficiaries were allotted houses, followed by 852 in the second phase, and 696 in the third phase.
These allotments were conducted through a Randomize electronic system, meticulously supervised by a committee led by the Deputy Commissioner, East Singhbhum, Jamshedpur.
Beneficiaries were urged by Sanjay Kumar, Special Officer of the Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee, to deposit their beneficiary contributions on time.
A specific call was made for the timely deposit of the second installment of Rs 101500/- to enable a smooth transition to the residences.
The event was a resounding success, with JUDCO officers and department officials addressing queries and concerns raised by beneficiaries.
Attendees of the fair included the LDM, Managers of all Banks, DGM of JUDCO, Project Manager, Trainee Executive Officer of Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee, City Manager, CLTC Specialist, and all office workers, along with sensors and beneficiaries.
