Jamshedpur Police Crack Loot Case: Three Suspects Arrested

After a detailed investigation, the police managed to solve a robbery case of Sitaramdera area, arresting three suspects involved in the crime.

JAMSHEDPUR – On June 24, 2023, a case was opened regarding a robbery that had occurred in the Sitaramdera police station area.

The police succeeded in apprehending three suspects linked to the crime and have subsequently placed them under custody.

The incident involved a local resident, Vishal Tiwari, who was brutally attacked and robbed near the Kalyan Nagar bridge, within the jurisdiction of Sitaramdera police station.

The criminals made away with ₹30,000 in cash and Tiwari’s mobile phone. The police immediately commenced an investigation upon receiving the report of the incident.

Through diligent detective work and the help of their technical branch, the police were able to locate Tiwari’s stolen phone, which had ended up with a man named Badal Lohar, a resident of Kalyan Nagar.

Upon interrogation, Lohar confessed to participating in the robbery.

The DSP of Headquarters 1 said that Tiwari was attacked with bricks and stones, sustaining injuries before being robbed of his cash and mobile phone.

According to Lohar’s confession, the crime was a concerted effort involving four criminals. In addition to Lohar, the other arrested suspects include Pintu Singh from Kalyan Nagar and Gaurav Bhuiyan from Bhuiyandih.

The police are now conducting searches to apprehend the remaining criminal.
