Jamshedpur Boy, 3 Friends Drown in Bhubaneswar River
22-year-old Aryan Mishra from Jamshedpur and three companions tragically drowned in a Bhubaneswar river during a college trip.
JAMSHEDPUR – Pankaj Mishra’s only son, Aryan Mishra, a resident of JKS Colony, Mango, Jawahar Nagar Road No. 15, tragically drowned in a river in Bhubaneswar.
Aged 22, Aryan had completed his BBA studies in Kolkata and was pursuing an MBA in Bhubaneswar.
Aryan, along with eight friends, decided to take a dip in a local river in Bhubaneswar when the incident occurred.
Tragically, three more friends also lost their lives due to drowning.
Aryan’s grandparents were on a foot pilgrimage from Sultanganj to Deoghar with friends when they received the terrible news.
Upon their return, the entire JKS colony was plunged into mourning.
Local BJP leader Vikas Singh, Ulidih Mandal president Amarinder Paswan, and others arrived at the grieving family’s residence to offer their condolences.
Family members departed for Bhubaneswar upon receiving the news last evening.
Following the completion of all formalities, Aryan’s body is expected to arrive in Jamshedpur late this evening.
