Paritosh Anand, Chief Data Scientist and Head of Digital Platforms & Strategic Initiatives at Reliance Industries, conducted an engaging session at XLRI Jamshedpur, focusing on problem-solving techniques and the transformative role of AI and digital technologies in business.

JAMSHEDPUR – Paritosh Anand, Chief Data Scientist and Head of Digital Platforms & Strategic Initiatives at Reliance Industries, captivated XLRI Jamshedpur with his session on "A Dummies Guide to Problem-Solving: Principles That Shaped My Career" on June 15th and 16th, 2024.

Mr. Anand addressed over 100 students and esteemed XLRI faculty, including Prof. Dr. A Kanagaraj, Convenor for Placement (BM, HRM & GM).

His presentation emphasized the transformative impact of digitization and artificial intelligence (AI) on the business world.

He illustrated how Reliance Industries has utilized digital technologies to revolutionize operations, particularly at the Jamnagar refinery, enhancing overall efficiency.

Anand discussed the significance of building robust ecosystems across various business segments, including energy, materials, retail, media, and digital services like Jio.

He stressed the role of integrated products and services in meeting evolving customer demands and driving loyalty in competitive markets.

Mr. Anand shared two powerful mantras for problem-solving: active listening and falling in love with the problem.

He highlighted the importance of listening to stakeholders and deeply understanding challenges to formulate effective solutions.

Interactive Learning and Student Engagement

On the second day, students demonstrated their problem-solving skills, leveraging AI and technology in agriculture, women and child welfare, and education sectors.

This showcased XLRI’s commitment to nurturing future leaders adept at tackling real-world challenges.
