Umbrellas Distributed to Street Vendors in Jamshedpur by BJP Business Cell State Convenor
Bharatiya Janata Party’s business cell state convenor, Neeraj Singh, brought smiles to street vendors in Mango, Ulidih, Sakchi, and Sonari by distributing large umbrellas to them.
JAMSHEDPUR – In an effort to provide relief and support, Neeraj Singh, state convenor of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) business cell, distributed large umbrellas to street vendors across Mango, Ulidih, Sakchi, and Sonari.
The administration had previously taken action in Mango, with temporary shops on Dimna Road and Mango demolished without prior notice.
This left the vendors to conduct their business exposed to the sun and rain.
The arrival of the umbrellas was met with joy and appreciation by the street vendors, who thanked Singh for his support.
Singh explained that his regular visits to these areas made him aware of the hardships the vendors face.
After their shelters were removed without providing any alternatives, these daily wage earners had to carry on with their business amidst sun and rain. Singh felt that the vendors should have a setup that allows them to run their business comfortably without the administration causing issues.
Singh added that the city lacks passenger sheds at many places, making the umbrellas a helpful tool for people during the rainy days.
The event was attended by Mango Mandal President Vinod Rai, Senior BJP leader Ashok Chauhan, Nityanand Sinha, President of Kishan Morcha Mango M.K. Giri, Ulidih Yuva Morcha President Rahul Kumar, Shivprakash Sharma, and Deepak Tiwari.
