JAMSHEDPUR – XLRI Jamshedpur has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with 7 Eleven Global Solution Centre India on October 17, 2025, marking a significant step toward strengthening collaboration between academia and industry.

The agreement was formalized at the XLRI campus in the presence of Fr. George Sebastian, Director of XLRI, along with Prof. Kanagaraj Ayyalusamy, Convenor of Corporate Relations & Placements and Professor of Finance, Prof. Sanjay Patro, Dean of Academics, and Prof. Sunil Sarangi, Co-Convenor of Corporate Relations & Placements.

Representing 7 Eleven Corporate Services India LLP, Mr. Malahar Raju Pinnelli, Vice President and Country Leader, attended the ceremony. The partnership aims to integrate academic and corporate insights to better prepare management students for leadership in the global business landscape.

Under the guidance of Prof. Kanagaraj Ayyalusamy and with execution by Ms. Anshu Kumari, Manager of Corporate Relations & Placements, the initiative will involve expert lectures, leadership engagements, and professional development programs to enhance students’ strategic and managerial skills.

Officials said the collaboration reinforces XLRI’s commitment to bridging the gap between education and industry practice, ensuring that students gain exposure to contemporary business challenges and leadership opportunities.
