Mango Local in Serious Condition After Self-Immolation Attempt

In a shocking incident, a man from Mango sets himself ablaze following a dispute, now battles for life in the hospital.

JAMSHEDPUR – A disturbing incident unfolded in Mango, as local resident Md Sikandar of Kapali Alinagar, attempted to commit suicide by self-immolation.

The incident happened on Azad Nagar road number two, under the jurisdiction of the Mango police station.

According to eyewitness accounts, Sikandar doused himself in petrol following a dispute during a conversation. He then set himself ablaze. However, quick-thinking bystanders managed to extinguish the fire and rush Sikandar to MGM Hospital for emergency medical attention.

Upon receiving the news, Sikandar’s relatives quickly made their way to the hospital. Sikandar, who works as a convoy driver, is currently said to be in a serious condition.

His companion Ramzan recounted the incident, stating that he and Sikandar were engaged in a conversation when a dispute arose.

Sikandar then retrieved petrol, doused himself with it, and set himself on fire.

The reason behind Sikandar’s drastic action remains unclear.
