Alleged assault on a 3-year-old at a Play School sparks investigation; school refutes the claims as baseless.
JAMSHEDPUR – A shocking incident has emerged from a Play School, located in Shastri Nagar, under the Kadma police station in Jamshedpur.
Relatives of a 3-year-old student have filed a formal complaint at the Kadma police station, accusing the school management of assault.
The incident came to light when Dr. Umesh Kumar, President of the Parents’ Association, along with the family members of the victim, filed a complaint.
The victim, a play group student named A Shukla, was allegedly thrashed by a school teacher on Tuesday.
The family also accuses the school of trying to conceal the incident by deleting CCTV footage.
Upon receiving the complaint, the police summoned the school principal and the family members to the police station for further investigation.
School principal, R Gupta, has dismissed the allegations as baseless.
The police have refrained from making any comments pending the outcome of the investigation.
