Tata Education Excellence Programme Hosts Educational Workshop for 14 Schools
TEEP organises a transformative educational workshop for 14 schools in Jamshedpur, addressing gaps in academic processes.
JAMSHEDPUR – The Tata Education Excellence Programme (TEEP), has organised a workshop to identify and address issues in academic processes in local schools.
The event took place on June 23, 2023, at the Management Training Centre, Tata Motors, for 14 selected schools.
Workshop’s Aim and Methodology
The assessments of these schools were performed using the BASIC and SARAL evaluation methods to gauge the maturity of their educational processes. These evaluations are initial methods under TEEP for the quality check of education processes.
The workshop was facilitated by Sunita Sinha, Creative Director, Mount Litera Zee School and Ex-Principal, Gulmohur High School. It focused on Lesson Planning and SWOT (strength, weakness, opportunity, threat) analysis.
Driving Educational Excellence
The objective of the workshop was to identify gaps in the current educational processes and bridge them with more focused and process-driven methods. This approach is designed to achieve optimal results for both students and schools.
After a hiatus of three years due to the pandemic, the workshop was designed to provide support to schools in addressing the identified gaps.
Participants and Outcomes
In total, 27 participants, including 5 school principals, participated in the program. The initiative will enable schools to prepare better for the upcoming assessment cycle.
The workshop concluded with a token of appreciation presented to Sunita Sinha by Pratibha Verma, Principal, Vidyasagar Uchcha Vidyalaya, Bamangora.
