Jharkhand Cabinet Approves 43 Proposals, Ushers Significant Changes
Jharkhand Cabinet’s meeting approves 43 proposals, including creation of jobs in upgraded secondary schools, smartphones for Anganwadi workers, and Apollo Hospital construction.
RANCHI – In a meeting today, the Jharkhand Cabinet approved 43 proposals, signaling significant decisions by the state government. One of the key resolutions involved creating posts for appointments in upgraded secondary schools across the state.
With 189 such schools in Jharkhand, a total of 3960 posts have been created for recruitment, spanning various roles including teachers, clerks, and other employees.
New Commission for OBC Reservations
The cabinet approved the establishment of a commission for conducting a survey to determine reservations for Other Backward Classes (OBCs) in urban local body elections. The State Backward Commission was formed to evaluate matters related to backward communities. A triple test for OBC reservation will be conducted statewide before the municipal elections.
Apollo Hospital to be Built in Namkum
The cabinet addressed the construction of Apollo Hospital. The Ranchi Municipal Corporation previously allotted land in Ghaghra, Doranda, but this has been canceled and 2.75 acres of land in Kalyanpur Mauja, Namkum zone, has been given instead.
Advancement for Women and Disabled
Approval of the Factory Act 2023 has allowed women to work night shifts in factories. The factory management will create the Jharkhand State Disabled Rights Manual 2023, ensuring safety and well-being of disabled individuals within factory premises.
Allocation for Central University of Jharkhand Road
The state government approved a revised plan to resolve the approach road to the Central University of Jharkhand issue, valued at Rs 53,44,39,000, including land acquisition to facilitate construction.
